For those that are eating at Lee's the first time: Don't hesitate to ask how it works. They are more than happy to help you navigate. This is one restaurant where it's best to ask.
Second, get plenty, but not too much. A good bit of noodles and veggies and meat go a long way. It's better to underestimate than to overestimate.
Third, easy on the spicy sauces. They really are spicy. Combined with the high heat of cooking, it packs a punch.
Fourth, after the cook cooks your noodles/veggies/meat combo, don't hesitate to add extra sauce for flavor. Teriyaki is a good choice that won't leave your mouth sweating.
Fifth, get something to drink with your meal. It'll be hot. It's worth spending a couple extra dollars to get a drink. Believe me.
I haven't taken leftovers home, so I can't say anything about if they let you take leftovers home or not. -

Wow.. This place is delicious. This is my first time here and let me tell you.. COME NOW! The price is just right for a Mongolian grill. The meat is frozen and so are the delicious vegetables. The building is extremely clean, the bathroom is clean. The music choice could be a bit better, plying pop music which is not my taste but it is low enough that it just fills in the the "dead space" durning conversations.
The waitress was very nice. Filled our drinks in a timely manner that was very nice. On food and services I would give it a 5 star review. Unfortunately, I cannot just base my review on that alone.
The offer a sauce called "Lee's Spicey", and well. Let me just say, the food being cooked was alot hotter than this sauce. What a disappointment for me. If you are into "Spicey" foods, do not count on it here. (The jalapeños where delicious btw). But, if you are not into spicey, this place will be a 5-star for you.
If it wasn't for that this would be a 5-Star review... Overall, this place is very clean and delicious and worth the money...
PS- the steamed rice is good but the soup is very bland... -

The Food, Fantastic.....The Cook behind the Grill....Fantastic. The waitress who served us a 3/4 cup of coffee and once she finally came over here at the end of our Fantastic meal, we were able to ask for a refill on the coffee and got a half a cup ! Really..I give kudos to all but the apparently uninspired waitress that apparently didnt want to be here

The food was good. I liked the soup. They were understanding when I made a mess. I will go back. Definitely try the soup.

Save yourself the hassle and stomach problems by going to Jung's on W 11th in Eugene. You'll thank me, I promise. My husband found one of their cheap Groupon offers and thought it would be good to try it out. I suspected it was owned by the same people who run the one in Springfield. Husband didn't think so and insisted we give it a try. Fine, I was dragged kicking and screaming in here, to find the same grumpy old man who looks like he wants to kill you in here. I pointed this out to my husband to prove I was right.
Let's start with the fact that they are cheap and it shows. Meat is cut up into tiny pieces, smaller than you'd cut up for your kids. They don't offer second bowls unless you ask, which are begrudgingly delivered, and they are significantly smaller than the first. They are the tiny bowls they give little kids to go through the line. Clearly they don't want you eating much! They have a 6 sauce scoop limit. They also have hot dogs on their line. They chop the meat up so tiny that it's easily overcooked, making it tough and chewy. I've re-dislocated my jaw trying to chew the meat. It's painful to eat here.
The waitstaff is pretty much useless and they all clearly hate their jobs. It's obvious they got in over their heads and lost money, so they are stuck until they can at least break even, or their lease is up. Everyone has this pissy/sour look on their faces. They act like you coming into the restaurant to eat and be served is the single biggest inconvenience you could ever imagine. Like I said, they don't offer second bowls unless you ask and when they bring them, they're kid size bowls. They clearly want you to eat as little as possible and charge you the most amount of money.
The six scoops of sauce limit is beyond ridiculous. They claim it's because the food burns quickly. You know, there's a pretty simple solution to that... turn the damn grill down! Nope. That makes too much sense and you're using more of their product. So they don't allow it. The six scoop limit leaves the food dry and tasteless. They don't give you any sauce combination suggestions or anything. Just posted signs warning you not to use more than 6 scoops, which even that much is frowned upon.
The only time they are anxious to deal with you is cashing you out. Damn they are quick to take your money! Like ripping it out of your hand to get you out of the restaurant a little faster. They begrudgingly serve you, rip the money out of your hand and kick you out as soon as possible. They've redefined the "get your shit and get out" attitude.
There are far better Mongolian restaurants in town. Save your money for those. Such as Jung's.
